The only Thai Select restaurant in Russia

Black Thai has recently received an honorable certificate of appreciation within Thai Select international programme of Kingdom of Thailand. It marks outstanding Thai restaurants around the world and was created as an analogue to Michelin guide for Thai nationals who travel the globe.

A festive dinner was held on July 26th to celebrate the occasion. His Excellency Sasiwat Wongsinsawat, the Ambassador of Thailand, presented the award to restaurateur Alexander Rappoport. The menu of the dinner inspired by Thai feasts was created by chef Artem Martirosov. Wines accompanying the dishes were provided by Simple Group.

New cocktail list was presented during the evening as well. It’s uniqueness is comprised of the way one may choose a drink for the evening: by taking a simple test that identifies the best match based on the mood and personal traits. Ten cocktails were created and presented by chef bartender Nijat Odzhakguliev and the visual representation of each cocktail was created using AI. Anna Baturina, PeopleTalk columnist and Gastrology channel creator, gave each character a personality.

Fashion expert Vlad Lisovets, singer and TV-host Yulianna Karaulova, journalist, stylist and co-founder of Divno Masha Fedorova, actress Alexandra Kiseleva, model Yulia German, TV-host Igor Lantratov, stylist Oksana On, blogger Milana Peach were among the guests of the event.
